Carlisle Golf Club (18 holes)

50 miles from Castle Douglas

Carlisle Golf Club 1908-2008Carlisle Golf Club 1908-2008

Course Description:

On A69 Newcastle Road half a mile from Junction 43 off the M6.
18 holes 6278 yards. S.S.S. 70. Practice area.
It is well worth the trip
An Open Championship Qualifying venue, the Course is situated amongst mature trees in gently undulating parkland, and is one of most attractive in northern England, providing a test for any golfer.
It's a tad too short to be a championship course, but still has many challenges for most players whatever their skill level.
Highly recommended.
