The 'new' course combines original hedgerow boundaries and a few mature trees(perfectly situated)with plantations of conifers and other small trees which over the last twenty years have matured to give the course it's lush, green appearance,with the apple trees bordering the 7th and 8th fairways adding a bit of taste to the proceedings!
The opening few holes there are magnificent views of the town and surrounding countryside.
