One of Portpatrick's well-kept secrets is the excellent 9-hole, Par 3 Dinvin Course, which is maintained to the same high standards as the 18-hole Dunskey Course.
A nine hole iron and putt course which has proved most enjoyable.
Taking about an hour to play, it is ideal for the golfer looking for a quick bit of exercise or for the beginner who does not feel up to the rigours of 18 holes.
Requiring no advance booking it simply means pay and play.
Family rates and discounted books of tickets are available.
Visitors are very welcome.

How to get to the Course

1.Head southwest on A713/King St toward Academy St Continue to follow King St
2.Continue on B736 1.1 mile
3.At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A75 Stranraer 28.8 miles
4.At the Newton Stewart roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on A75 16.9 miles, Follow the signs to Portpatrick
5.Watch for signs to Portpatrick Fork left after Glenluce bypass to at B7084 2.3 miles
6.Slight right at B7077 3.4 miles
7.Turn right at A716/Market Slap 0.4 mile
8.Turn left at B7077 0.5 mile
9.Turn left at A77(M)/Main St, Continue to follow A77(M) 4.4 miles
10.in to Portpatrick Slight right at Heugh Rd 0.4 mile
11.Turn right at Golf Club Rd
