Lochmaben Golf Club is one of the most attractive courses in the area, occupying a historic area and nestling around a Loch.
The 2nd takes you to the site of Bruce Castle & to the 3rd you notice the defensive ditch.
Increasingly popular with visiting parties and handy to play en-route to and from the Hotel, just a few miles from the M74-turn off at Lockerbie.

How to get to the Course

Off A709, 4 miles from Lockerbie.
Follow the signs for Lockerbie and Lochmaben from the Dumfries bypass using the A709.
As you approach the Burgh you will pass Castle Loch and its sailing club on your left.
After 300 yards you are at the beginning of the High Street.
Do not bear right onto the High Street but keeping the Church on your left carry straight on into Mounsey’s Wynd.
Ignore the sharp turn left before the Church.
Follow Mounsey’s Wynd for 200 yards then turn right. There is a signpost on the wall for the Golf Club.
The car park and clubhouse will appear 100 yards further on.
