Great Scottish Cooking

Our menus are based on good home Scottish cooking and plenty of it. We are recognised as a 'Taste of Scotland' establishment using as much local produce as we can, such as Galloway Beef, Lamb and Solway Salmon.
High teas available which includes a main meal and fresh homemade scones & biscuits followed by teas & coffee If you would like to look at a sample menu to get an idea of the delicious foods available, then please select from one of the below

Delicious Daily Specials

In addition to the extensive menu, we have a daily "Specials" Board with a variety of homemade soups, special main courses of the day and delicious sweets.

Bars

We have a total of 3 bars - The Hotel Bar, where all our bar meals are served, will be open for those who like to drink a little later!
A public bar, complete with Sky TV and a large plasma screen, sits back to back with a lounge bar. There is also a pool room with two tables, 2 dart boards and a jukebox. Dominos are also available.

Whiskey And Spirits

As is natural for such a well reputed Scottish establishment, we have a large range of drinks - both alcoholic and soft. We have all the popular brands of malt whiskeys and an extensive selection of other spirits.

Red And White Wines

We have a wide selection of white and red wines which are available by the glass or bottle. We will get in whatever you want!

Beers

Our beers include Tennents Lager, McEwans 70/-, McEwans 80/-, Fosters, Kronenbourg 1664, John Smiths and Guinness. There are ciders and all manner of other bottled drinks

Breakfasts

7.45am until 9.00am (Monday to Friday)
7.45am until 9.30am (Saturday and Sunday)
Breakfast can be earlier by arrangement with the chef

Lunches

12 noon until 2.00pm

Bar Suppers

6pm until 8.30pm

We are fortunate that, in the event of The Imperial Hotel being unable to accommodate you, our sister hotel is close by. (In some cases we have split larger parties between the two hotels.)
